New Scroll Saw Care

I just received my first scroll saw and it's new. What do you recommend to remove the anti-rust oily coating on the table? Is there anything I should put on the table after the oil is removed?

With my saw I used a good paste wax.Don't use anything with silicone in it. If you don't have paste wax take some waxed paper and roll it into a ball and use it. Have fun with your new saw.

Awesome advice on the wax paper!

I had seen that before but I had totally forgotten.
My saw has a teflon table, but I see the teflon is staring to show signs of wear.


Hmmm if nothing sticks to teflon , how do they get it to stick?
