30 + ornaments, two rotating christmas pyramides, two magazines plus pattern premiums, converting from PC to Mac, moving into a different office, attending a show, dealing with holidays, learning new software, following up on story ideas, fighting with my printer, planning, organizing, and laying out our shop and dust collection system at the shop, just generally going nuts

    Thanks for asking!

Now wait a minute here Bob, you get to do all that and set up a work shop, you lucky dog you. The magazine looks great each and every issue. I only wish you had more issues. Looking forward to your Open House next year.

I have a question for you and maybe you have a sister publication already that I am not aware of but being turning is becoming bigger and bigger and I am going into it this year as well do you have a magazine out there or are you thinking of one??

Thanks for taking a few minutes and sharing you schedule with us. Keep scrolling.

Without the complete schematic it is hard to know what is correct.
That said, it is a multispeed blower that obviously has a controller board. That board varies the power to the motor. By doing what you did you bypassed that. You put power across the low and high windings. If any thing connecting...

If he connected to red and black and the motor spun wouldn't that indicate the motor is grounded? Without connecting the white the circuit isn't complete and the motor should not spin.

The reason for the smoke is incorrect wiring, posible melted insulation between motor windings and motor frame.

You mentioned connecting power to the red & and black wire. Did you do anything with White wire? Per the lable on the motor the black wire is high the Red is low. White common...
