I would like to see a few more message board areas for different catagories.
Maybe one on finishing, One on tools, and one on software all seem to be hot topics.
I am not sure if you would want one where people can post free patterns, that may be more of a nightmare than it is worth

Having already suggested this a few weeks ago, I'm very much in agreement with everyone else.

There is no opinion, however absurd, which men will not readily embrace as soon as they can be brought to the conviction that it is readily adopted.

If everyone is in agreement, I'll be glad to add them. When we changed softward and set up the forum in the first place, people thought we had too many forums...so I'll be glad to set up the new forums...

I'll admit, i've been a little silent on this to see how many people wanted the change!

            Forums

It was Woodcarving illustrated that tweeked it for me. But I do agree, there can be too many if we are not careful.

                Good Job

                Bob

Thanks for listening and for setting up the new forums. I do not see a problem with this many forums even if they only get used a few times a week. You have it set up so that when we log on we know exactly where there are new postings. It does help when addressing questions because things start to get run together and you do not know what question your are answering to. This should help if everyone sticks to the topic in the catagory. Now if we only can get a few more people to throw their oars in the water and get things pumped up here with some interesting topics.

                  Super Changes!!!

Well Done Bob!! I think it's awesome that members of the forum made suggestions and then they happen ! As a fairly new member I must say that the changes will make this an even greater forum because it will be easier to navigate and find the messages that we need find for help or want to respond to!! Thanks to you all!! and again, thanks Bob!

Well now that the board is looking better. I would like to suggest an "instant chatroom" for this sight. I see people one here at the same time I am... would be nice to have a chat room.

Quartz I only bought the air filter, That same model is sold by many distributors, I see Grizzly has it and several others. I was going to build one but this thing works great. I will get a charcoal filter for it also. Great when doing Pyrography. They also had a Pfingst brand flex shaft tool I haven't...

Carole, only you would cut sprinkles on a scrollsaw. I would probably use rice and stain it. I just gave up replacing my insert. Its worn, but works for what I need. I do sand it to make sure there are no burrs sticking up to scratch the wood. I will be trying the new contact paper when mine runs...

Thick hair would need a larger opening, thinner hair would require a smaller opening to stay in place. The one being shown in the utube would probably work for thicker hair. They look way better than a pencil or dowel! That elephant sure is cute in her hair!.
