  • Missing Avatars

    Hi Members!

Unfortunately, I was not able to transfer your Avatars from the old message board... In addition, there is a flaw with the boards ability to allow custom avatars. The board programmers are working on a solution.

In the meantime, I uploaded about 45 avatars for users to choose from. Some from the old message board along with some new ones... Please feel free to email me any avatars that you would like to share with the rest of the board. Below are instructions on how to add an avatar to your profile

    Steps
    1. On the top of the page select "User CP"
    2. Under settings and options select "Edit Avatar"
    3. Under Pre-Defined Generic Avatars select an Avatar by clicking the appropriate radio box
    4. Last step is to select "Save Changes"

    Re: Missing Avatars

I believe I resolved the issue witht the custom avatars. Below are the instructions if someone wants to try

    1. Go to "User CP"
    2. Under Settings and options select Edit Avatar
    3. Scroll underneath the Pre-Definied Avatars
    4. Under custom avatar select the radio button "Use custom avatar"
    5. Either link to an avatar of uplac from your computer
    6. Remember to view the spec 80 by 80 pixels or 195 KB which ever is smaller

Let me know if this workd or not.

    Thanks,
    Rob

Thank you! I did find the feature. Unfortunately, my picture is too big. It is a square graphic, 108kb. Any hints on how I can make it small enough to use??
          Thanks

I don't remember which one I used but I think it was somewhere around #12 which is .029 diameter. Anything between 12 and 19 will work you would just adjust your slot width. There is a pattern for bending it to shape do you have that?

              Old wooden plates.
              by Eugene Downes
Over the years I've found that cutting old wooden plates can be very rewarding. Most of them are very good wood and when you finish your cut out the plate already has a nice finish on it.. I normally buy mine at yard sales or Good Will whenever I can find them....

I've found in the past that you can find some very nice wood from old wooden plates. When you finish your cut out the wood already has a nice finish. I am only adding a picture of 6 but I have done many of these....
