    This is my third one from the book U.S. Military Designs by Mike and Vicky Lewis. It is made from two layers of 1/4" Baltic birch plywood approximately 9" in diameter. The top layer is raised with shims. I used FD UR #1 blades and finished with two coats clear satin spray polyurethane....

    The pattern was designed by Keith Fenton and purchased from Sheila Landry's website. It is made from 1/2" Poplar approximately 3 1/2" x 15 1/2". I used FD UR #1 and #3 blades. It is finished with two coats of spray Shellac. Comments welcome.

    In preparing to cut the stacked floral votive holder by Michael Riffel in the spring 2018 issue, I found that the pattern piece in the pull out section that had the printing in it was almost 1/8" too small for a two inch forstner bit. By enlarging it 106 % it now had the correct size (2")...
